2006-07: Placed 16th in the 100 freestyle at the Horizon League Championships and also competed in the preliminaries of the 50 free and 200 free at the championships ... established season-best times in all three events in the process ... placed third in the 200 free in win over Valparaiso ... fourth in 200 free in victory against Western Illinois ... took fifth in both the 100 and 200 free against Butler/UIC. High School: Was a member of three sectional and conference-winning teams in high school ... was the conference champion in the 50 and 100 freestyle in 2005 ... member of the relay team that broke the Tremper High School record in the 200 freestyle relay and was a YMCA National qualifier in 2006. Personal: Son of Thomas and Patricia Mahoney ... was the executive treasurer of student government and also involved with Boy Scouts, National Honor Society and band ... very invloved in the community, has helped with Relay for Life, Eagle Scout Service Project and Tremper Blood Drive ... a business major at UWM. |
