Horizon League Final Four Set For Friday and SundayNov. 9, 2003 MILWAUKEE - For the third consecutive season, the Horizon League men's soccer tournament semifinals and finals will take place at Engelmann Field in Milwaukee beginning Friday (Nov. 14). The tournament, which will be hosted by No. 1 seed University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, will feature two semifinal games on Friday with the championship match slated for Sunday (Nov. 16). The tournament's No. 2 seed, Butler (11-6-3) will take on No. 3 seed Detroit (8-8-2) in Friday's first semifinal which is set to begin at 11 a.m. CST at Engelmann Field. The second semifinal between No. 1 seed Milwaukee (13-5-1) and No. 5 seed Wright State (10-9-0) is scheduled to start at 1:30 p.m. The winners of the two games will square off in Sunday's championship which will start at 12 p.m. UWM won last season's tournament with an 8-0 win over Cleveland State while Butler claimed the 2001 title thanks to a 2-0 win over UWM. The winner of the championship match will receive the league's automatic berth into the 2003 NCAA Men's Soccer Tournament.
Tickets for the 2003 Horizon League men's soccer tournament are $5 for adults and $3 for students. Engelmann Field is located on the corner of Hartford and Cramer Avenues in the heart of the UWM campus.
