Milwaukee - UWM senior forward Joe Luedke (Wauwatosa, Wis.-Wisconsin Lutheran High School) has been named MCC Athlete of the Week, the conference office announced today.

Luedke scored three goals last week and added an assist as the Panthers went 2-0 in MCC games.

Against Loyola on Oct. 13, Luedke tied the score in the 75th minute with a goal and then scored the gamewinner in the 115th minute as the Panthers posted a 2-1 victory.

Against Detroit on Oct. 17, he scored another goal and assisted on another as the Panthers won, 6-2.

The Panthers (9-5-1, 3-0-1 MCC) wrap up the home portion of their schedule with three home games this week. On Wed., Oct. 20, Northern Illinois plays the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. at Uihlein Soccer Park. On Fri., Oct. 22, UWM plays host to Wisconsin at Wisconsin Lutheran High School. Kickoff is 7:30 p.m. On Sun., Oct. 24, Cleveland State will play UWM at Uihlein Soccer Park. Kickoff is noon.
