Zenoni Competing For Spot With Dundee FCJuly 10, 2006 MILWAUKEE - Kyle Zenoni of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee is the latest in the line of Panther men's soccer players to continue his career at the professional level. Zenoni is currently overseas in Scotland on a tryout with Dundee FC, a team in the Scottish Premier League. He wrapped up an illustrious career on the field this past fall, helping lead the Panthers to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the fourth-consecutive season. He was a four-year starter at UWM, serving as team captain during his senior season. "Kyle has worked extremely hard to get where he is right now," UWM head coach Jon Coleman said. "He is very deserving of this opportunity and we wish the best for him. He is a player a team can't go wrong with ... he will impress anyone. You have to give him a lot of credit - he has worked very hard to get where he is today." The Chicago Storm selected Zenoni in the second round of the MISL Draft in March. He headed overseas a few weeks ago on a recommendation from Dundee FC club owner Peter Marr and has impressed head coach Alex Rae in tryouts. He will find out if he lands a contract within the next week to 10 days, as the SPL schedule gets underway on July 11.
