Milwaukee - The UWM men's soccer team grabbed a tie and a win this past weekend in its first games of the spring season on April 13. The Panthers played at the Milwaukee Rampage's home field, drawing, 1-1, against the host professional outdoor soccer team and then defeating Oakland University, 3-2.

Down 1-0 with less than a minute left to play, sophomore midfielder Tighe Dombrowski headed in the equalizer off a cross from left defender Trent Furtsch to tie the Rampage.

In the win over Oakland, the Panthers went up 3-0 on goals scored by Bobby Lish, Antou Jallow and Kyle Lance. Several players were taken out of the line up or inserted in different positions in the second half, when Oakland scored its two goals.

The Panthers are next at Marquette this Saturday, April 13, playing Northwestern, DePaul and Valparaiso in scrimmages at Valley Fields. Games are 30-minute halves beginning at 11 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 2:45 p.m.
