MILWAUKEE - The UWM men's soccer team will play a professional team from the A-League, a pair of USL Division 3 teams, a top Olympic Development Program team and several local universities during its spring schedule, which kicks off this weekend.

The Panthers open their five-date spring schedule when they play the Milwaukee Rampage on Saturday, April 1, at 1 p.m. at Brown Deer Park. The last time UWM played the Rampage in a spring exhibition, the Panthers lost, 3-2, to a Rampage team that went on to win the A-League championship in 1997. After the Rampage game, UWM will take on the ODP 82 U-18 team at Brown Deer Park. Two incoming Panther freshmen - Tighe Dombrowski and Kyle Lance - play for the 82s.

UWM takes on two USL Division 3 teams late in April. The Rockford Raptors will play in the UWM Spring Tournament at UW-Parkside on April 22. The Panthers travel on April 29 to play the Minnesota Tornado in Blaine, Minn.
