Recap |  Box Score |  Notes

Milwaukee head coach Louis Bennett on the game:

"It was just a great collegiate soccer game. Both teams had chances. We definitely had the more clear-cut chances, but were unable to put them away. Dunsheath [Bradley's goalkeeper] played a great game."

Bennett on Bradley goalkeeper Chris Dunsheath:

"He was one of the best players on the field today. He stopped numerous clear-cut opportunities. He is a very good player."

Bennett on Grant Fernstrum:

"Today wasn't his best performance ... he'll be the first to admit that. The shutout today went to Billy Meier, Steve Bode, Travis Phillips, Zeke Dombrowski and the rest of the people playing in back. But he has big shoulders and can carry that kind of responsibility."

Bennett on the end of the game:

"They really pressed. In the last 15 minutes, we put in an extra defender and only had two players on top."

Bennett on New Mexico, UWM's second round opponent:

"It will be a challenge. We'll take a quick short breath to enjoy this and go from there. Now we have to formulate a game plan to take care of them."

Junior Steve Sperl on getting to the second round:

"Every year, we seem to get to the second round. Now the guys don't want to go to New Mexico for just a vacation, but for us to get a win."
