UWM head coach Jon Coleman on the result:
"Losing hurts, but I was pleased with the way the guys came out and played tonight and was pleased with the way they fought."
Coleman on his team's play:
"We have progressed throughout the whole season. And, I think tonight we created some opportunities and I think the game could have gone either way. They (UIC) took advantage of one set piece late and they found the back of the net."
Coleman on what they can take from the game:
"All of our guys worked really hard, stayed disciplined and worked well as a team. Tonight I saw a lot of hard work and positive attitude. And I saw some individual commitment to the team."
