Men's Soccer Falls to No. 19 Butler, 3-1

Milwaukee - The UWM men's soccer team guaranteed that it would be playing on the road in the first round of the MCC tournament when it fell to Butler, 3-1, at Engelmann Field.
The Bulldogs, ranked 19th nationally and undefeated in conference play, scored with 16 seconds remaining in the first half. Stephen Armstrong took a pass from Jeremy Aldrich, ran past a UWM defender and scored from 10 yards out.
UWM, 4-12 overall, 2-4 in the MCC, came back strong early in the second half and peppered the Butler defense. The Panthers broke through with a goal in the 52nd minute, but it was disallowed due to an offsides call.
Butler put the game away in the following three minutes with a pair of quick goals.
UWM got on the board in the 77th minute when Joe Bernstein put the ball in the net off an assist from Bobby de St. Aubin.
The Panthers wrap up the regular season with a home game against Wright State on Sunday. Gametime is noon.
