UWM head coach Jon Coleman on the tie:
"I thought we were deserving of a goal and that we controlled most of the game. I thought we were unfortunate not to get a goal early. Instead of us getting frustrated, we kept clarity of mind to keep creating opportunities and then took advantage of one."
Coleman on his team's mentality:
"If we are going to get into the NCAA Tournament, we are going to have to claw and fight every time we play, just like we did tonight."
Coleman on what comes next for his team:
"We need to prepare the guys well for the Horizon League Tournament and to go away from home and regain the LeWang trophy (against NIU next Tuesday) and have a good all-out effort and take advantage of the next opportunity."
