-Milwaukee improves to 22-11-3 all-time against Green Bay, including 8-1-1 in the past 10 matches. -The shutout was the first of the season for junior Grant Fernstrum. It was also the 14th of his UWM career, moving him into a tie for fourth place all-time. -Going into the game, the Panthers could have finished anywhere from second to fifth in the Horizon League standings, but took matters into their own hands with a victory. -UWM earned a bye into the semifinals of the league tournament by finishing second. -The loss was the first of the season for Green Bay at home, halting a 12-game unbeaten streak dating back to last season. -The goal was the first game-winner of junior Adam Skalecki's career. He became the ninth different player to score this season, with all five game-winners coming from different players as well.
