Milwaukee 3; Butler 0
Oct. 5, 2007
-The Panthers improve to 14-8-1 all-time against Butler. The series has gone Milwaukee's way of late: UWM has won eight of the last 10, including five by shutout. -After two games of Horizon League play, the Panthers stand unbeaten at 1-0-1. They jump up to second place, behind only Green Bay (2-0). -The goal for senior Ken Ogorzalek was the first of his UWM career. -The penalty kick that Ryan Germann stopped was the second in the past three attempts stopped by UWM keepers. Gonzaga converted the only opponent PK try this year, but Grant Fernstrum denied one at UIC last Oct. 3. -The 10-game winless streak (0-9-1 dating back to final game of 2006) is over. The longest previous streak in program history was five, set in 1982 (0-3-2) and 1983 (0-5). -The victory also snapped what was a six-game losing streak away from Engelmann Field.
