UWM 0; Dartmouth 1

Dartmouth Classic

Sept. 21, 2007

Recap |  Box Score |  Notes

UWM head coach Jon Coleman on the match:
"I thought we dominated, basically, the whole second half. Except for one mistake early on that kind of dug us a hole - and this is going to sound repetitive - but I guess if there is ever such a thing of winning when you actually lose, then today was an indication of that."

Coleman on the offense:
"I think the offense created come opportunities and we were just a bit unlucky."

Coleman on getting into the victory column:
"I think we have broken through to understand what it's really going to take, the effort that we are going to need to win games."

Coleman on the defense:
"The back four really played well and fought hard and put in the extra work to keep us in the game. You have to give it to those five [along with Germann]."

Coleman on Sunday's match with Yale:
"For both teams, it will be the opportunity for the first win of the season, but I think we have some momentum going into that game. I mean defensively and offensively, we played quality soccer today."
