Chris Dadaian begins his fourth season as an assistant coach for the Milwaukee men's soccer team. He works closely with head coach Jon Coleman on all aspects. He also works with all players, specifically on developing the goalkeepers. "Chris has been through the program and played in the NCAA Tournament," Coleman said. "He is willing to do whatever it takes to get back into the tournament and prepare the team to make a run. He is a hard-working, passionate coach who is prepared to elevate the program. He has also worked very hard since coming on staff to connect with the alumni and keep the black and gold family strong." Dadaian was a four-year letterwinner as a goalkeeper at UWM from 1999-2002. He earned First Team All-Horizon League honors in 2002 and 2001 and was named to the All-Newcomer Team in 1999. His goals against average of 0.54 in 2002 was third in the nation that season and was a school record until it was broken in 2005. He also holds Milwaukee standards with 21 career shutouts, 16 wins in a season and 42 victories in a career. His scoreless streak of 741:63, as part of a record seven-straight shutouts during the 2002 season, is also the longest in school history. Dadaian has prior experience coaching with the Milwaukee Bavarians and the Racine Soccer Club. Currently, he coaches with the Wisconsin Olympic Development Program. In addition, he is the director of Camp Shutout: The Advanced Sessions. Dadaian has his NSCAA Advanced Coaching license and his USSF `D' license.
UWM Playing Career (1999-2002) 2002: Had arguably the finest season for a goalkeeper in program history ... finished 16-1-0 with nine shutouts, making 17 starts ... named All-Horizon League First Team ... allowed just nine goals in 1491:20 for a school-record 0.54 goals against average, which finished third at the NCAA Division I level ... won his first 16 starts of the season ... his 16 victories in one season, 42 career wins and 21 career shutouts are also school records, as well as his scoreless streak of 741:63 (10/11 to 11/15/02) and seven straight clean sheets. 2001: Earned the title of 'best goalie in the Horizon League' by making the all-league first team after the season ... started and played in 16 matches, going 13-3 with a 1.27 GAA and five shutouts ... posted shutouts in each of his first three appearances of the season ... tallied four saves and shut out nationally-ranked Creighton September 16. 2000: Played and started in eight games as a sophomore ... posted a 4-4-0 record on the season ... recorded two shutouts on the season, including a 2-0 win over Loyola (Maryland) on September 17 and a 1-0 overtime victory against Detroit on September 29 ... tallied a season-high six saves against Yale, helping UWM to a 3-2 win on September 23 ... career goals against average of 1.62 and career shutouts of seven both rank 10th in the UWM record books ... ranks ninth in school record book with 13 career wins ... recipient of the team's Soccer Scholar award following the season. 1999: Played in 16 games, starting 15 as a freshman ... named to the MCC All-Newcomer team and Panther Invitational All-Tournament team ... had three shutouts in the first three starts of his career ... won the team's Most Improved and Soccer Scholar awards. 1998: Redshirted and maintained freshman eligibility.
