UWM-UWGB Contest Set For ESPNU

MILWAUKEE - The Jan. 9 men's basketball game between the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay will kickoff the brand-new Horizon League/ESPNU Game of the Week package, the league office and the network announced today. The game tips off at 8 p.m. CST and will be one of 17 games involving league schools on the ESPN networks during the coming season. In addition to the full package of games on Fridays in January and February, the ESPN networks will again provide coverage of the men's and women's basketball tournament as well as other games throughout the season. The appearance by the Panthers in the package will mark the 20th national television appearance by UWM over the past six seasons. In addition to the game on ESPNU, UWM will again have its extensive local television package with Time Warner Sports. The full list of those games will be announced shortly, and those broadcasts will again be available throughout the country on ESPN Full Court and ESPN360.
