MILWAUKEE - University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee associate head coach Tony Jones has never been shy about making a fashion statement. His latest has won him national recognition.

Jones has been named the nation's best dressed assistant coach by College Insider.com

Jones beat out Kerry Keating of UCLA in the final of the 2004 Runway to the Fashionable Four, an online contest coordinated by Angela Lento of College Insider.com. Late in his "dual" with Keating, Lento reports Jones clinched the win by flashing a Rolex watch.

Last year, Jones and Keating tied for the honor of best dressed.

"Kerry Keating was the toughest competitor I have faced in three trips to the Fashionable Four," Jones said. "Last season I couldn't shake him and this year it came down to a tough call by Angela. I am happy to have won but I know that Kerry and I will meet again on the runway."
