MILWAUKEE - UWM senior Chad Angeli is the recipient of the "Senior Competitor Award," given out by the college basketball website, College Insider.com.

The website had featured Angeli as its "Unknown Soldier" earlier this season, and now has honored Angeli for perservering through four years of college basketball with just one eye.

"Players considered for the `Senior Competitor Award' have displayed hard work and persistence during their four seasons," College Insider.com's Angela Lento said. "They have worked diligently to improve their game and to be a leader to their teammates.

"There is no written criteria that defines the College Insider.Com `Senior Competitor Award.' Therefore, every season there are countless worthy candidates, but one always stands out. This season Chad simply stood out."
