Feb. 21, 2001 MILWAUKEE - Game Notes in PDF Format
The UWM men's basketball team wraps up the regular season this weekend, playing host to Cleveland State Thursday night and Detroit Saturday afternoon. Thursday's game begins at 7 p.m., while Saturday's game tips-off at 1:05 p.m. The Panthers (13-12, 5-7 MCC) will be looking to break a two-game losing streak. UWM fell on the road at Butler and Wright State last weekend. Cleveland State (17-11, 8-4 MCC) is also looking to snap a two-game slide. The Vikings were beaten by Detroit Sunday. UWM currently stands in fifth place, two games back of Wright State for fourth place, and one game ahead of UIC and UW-Green Bay. Seeding for the MCC Tournament, scheduled for March 3-6 at Wright State, will be settled following play this weekend.
Both contests this weekend are televised. Thursday's game will air on TV-41 in Milwaukee, while Saturday's contest can be seen on Midwest Sports Channel.
