- The Panthers are now 4-0 all-time in home openers under Rob Jeter and 16-3 in home openers since 1990.

- The Panthers shot 60 percent from the field, the fourth-best performance in UWM's Division I history. It was the best performance since UWM shot 60.6 percent against Prairie View A&M in the opener of the 2004-05 season.

- Milwaukee has now shot 50 percent or better twice this season after doing it just once all of last season.
