MILWAUKEE (AP) - Clay Tucker scored 21 points and Jason Frederick added 20 as Wisconsin-Milwaukee defeated Wright State 94-68 Thursday night to retain a share of first place in the Horizon League.

The Panthers (15-10, 10-3) needed the victory to keep pace with co-leader Butler, which defeated Wisconsin-Green Bay 77-74 Thursday night. The Raiders (14-10, 6-7) were led by Vernard Hollins with 18 points and Jessie Deister with 15.

Frederick's fourth 3-pointer broke the fourth tie of the first half, putting the Panthers ahead 28-25 with 8:30 remaining. The team never lost the lead the rest of the game.

Tucker had two 3-pointers in the first half to give him a career 197, one more than the Panther's all-time 3-point leader, Pat McCabe.

Milwaukee had eight 3-pointers in the first half and led 45-38 at the break.

Ronnie Jones scored the first five points of the second half to extend Milwaukee's lead to 50-38. Wright State continued to fall behind the rest of the game.

Wisconsin coach Bo Ryan, who led the Panthers for two seasons before taking the Madison job, attended the game. He wanted to see his son, Will, suit up for the last time at home with the Panthers.
