MILWAUKEE - The UWM baseball team recieved its first-ever vote in the USA Today/Baseball Weekly/ESPN Coaches Top 25 final poll. The Panthers upset then-No. 1 Rice and lost in the bottom of the ninth to No. 21 Texas Tech in their first-ever appearance in the NCAA Baseball Tournament. UWM, which won the Midwestern Collegiate Conference, is tied for 36th in the poll.
