MILWAUKEE - Jedediah "Jed" Dolske (Ripon, Wis.) has signed a letter of intent to play baseball at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, the Panther coaching staff has announced.

Dolske was a pre-season all-state selection as a right-handed pitcher at Ripon High School after helping to lead the Tigers to the WIAA Division 2 State Championship last year. Dolske was the winning pitcher in the state title game, beating Park Falls.

Dolske was a first-team All-East Central Conference performer as a junior after being named to the second team as a sophomore. He was also an all-area and all-district performer last season.

Dolske has also played quarterback at Ripon High School for the last three years, and off the field was named to the honor roll during both his junior and senior years.

The Panthers just concluded their most successful regular season in history, winning 35 games and claiming the outright Midwestern Collegiate Conference regular season championship. UWM opens play in the MCC Tournament Thursday morning in Chicago, looking to claim its second NCAA Tournament berth.
