MILWAUKEE - Quintin Oldenburg (Appleton, Wis./Fox Valley Lutheran), a sophomore right-handed pitcher on the UWM baseball team, has been named the MCC Pitcher of the Week, the league office announced today.

Oldenburg had another fine outing against an MCC opponent, as he pitched a complete game against Detroit on Saturday, allowing no earned runs on five hits, while striking out six and walking none. With that outing, Oldenburg improved to 3-0 with a 0.98 ERA and 21 strikeouts in 18.1 innings in MCC games this year. For the season, he leads Panther regulars with a 2.03 ERA.

The Panthers are 25-20 this season and are in first place in the MCC with a 10-4 record. They play Minnesota-Duluth in Eau Claire, Wis. on Tuesday.
