MILWAUKEE - UWM's Steve Guden has been named the MCC Baseball Player of the Week.

The third baseman/catcher hit .650 for the week as the Panthers won three of four in the MCC and five of seven overall.

Guden went 13-for-20 at the plate, including a pair of four-hit games against Wright State. Guden also scored six runs, drove in five, stole two bases, and posted a .708 on base percentage. He also did not commit an error in the field at either catcher or third base while recording six assists.

UWM (29-15) returns to action Tuesday afternoon, hosting Eastern Illinois (31-15) in a 2 p.m. doubleheader.
