UWM Baseball Begins Busy Week

The UWM baseball team begins another busy week Tuesday afternoon, traveling to Evanston, Ill., for a single game with Northwestern. The Panthers (24-13, 10-2 MCC) will also play a doubleheader at UW-Parkside Wednesday before beginning a weekend series with Wright State Friday night. UWM enters play this week two games ahead of Wright State in the MCC standings. After this weekend's four-game series between the two teams, the Panthers have a four-game home series with Butler, while Wright State will face Cleveland State in a four-game series. UIC is four games back of UWM in the loss column. The Flames are off from conference play this weekend, then travel to Detroit to close out regular season play.
Tuesday's single game with the Wildcats (20-26) begins at 3 p.m. Wednesday's doubleheader with UW-Parkside (33-15) is scheduled for 2 p.m. This weekend's series with Wright State includes a single game Friday night at 5:30 p.m. CDT, a doubleheader Saturday at 11 a.m. CDT, and a single game Sunday at noon CDT.
