Sadowski Named Midseason All-American
April 26, 2000 MILWAUKEE - Chad Sadowski (Cudahy, Wis./Cudahy), a senior designated hitter/pitcher, has been named to the Baseball America midseason All-America second team, according to the May 1 issue. Sadowski is listed as a utility player, based on his .357 batting average with a team-best 11 doubles and 29 RBIs, and his 5.06 ERA with a team-high 36 strikeouts. He is the school's career hits and career RBI leader as a batter, and holds the school record for wins in a career as a pitcher. Baseball America also predicts the 64 teams that will make the NCAA Tournament and places the Panthers as a No. 4 seed in the Fresno State regional. The Panthers (16-17) defeated No. 15 Nebraska on Tuesday, and play host to Chicago State today at 6 p.m. at Henry Aaron Field.
