Panthers Down Minnesota-Duluth
May 10, 2000 Eau Claire, Wis. - The UWM baseball team won its sixth game in a row as it defeated NCAA Division II school Minnesota-Duluth, 6-5, on Tuesday. Matt Freisleben pitched two innings of relief, facing the minimum six batters to collect the win and improve to 3-2 on the season. Rob Erickson started the game for UWM and pitched four innings, allowing no runs and a hit. He struck out six batters. Matt Houk went 1-for-4 at the plate with three stolen bases and two runs scored, including the game winner. The Panthers (26-20) stranded 14 baserunners in the game.
UWM next plays on Thursday at Chicago State.
