MILWAUKEE-- The UWM baseball team scored a come-from-behind win with its 9-8 victory over Chicago State on Wednesday at Lincoln Park Field. The Panthers scored four runs in the final two innings to post the win. The Panthers trailed by as many as five, 6-1, in the second inning. The Panthers lost game two of the doubleheader, 8-7. In the first game, Paul Archambault went 3-4 with three doubles. His double in the seventh inning scored Jason Crawford from first base. JJ Kotarak hit a run-scoring triple in the sixth inning and then scored to give UWM a 8-7 lead. The Cougars scored a run in the seventh, setting the stage for Archabaults big hit. Crawford pitched the seventh inning and earned the win.

In game two, UWM allowed seven runs in the first three innings, and never recoverd. The Panthers threatened in the sixth, cutting their deficit to 8-7, but could not push accross the tying run. Chad Sadowski went 2-4 at the plate with two RBI. Kyle Raeder picked up the loss.

UWM plays host to Butler for four games this weekend. The first game of the series has been moved back to 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
