UWM Basebal Falls to UW-Parkside

Panthers shut out for first time this season

Milwaukee- The UWM baseball team fell twice to UW-Parkside, 7-0, and 2-0, in a Wednesday doubleheader at Henry Aaron Field.

The losses drop UWMs record to 10-16 overall. MCC play begins this weekend with a doubleheaders on Saturday and Sunday at Detroit.

In game one against UW-Parkside, UWM trailed by one run, 1-0, heading into the sixth inning, but the Rangers pushed six runs accross in the final two frames. The Ranger pitchers did what no other team had done the the Panthers: hold them scoreless. UWM managed only five hits, the same number as UWP. Brian Gould (1-1) picked up the loss.

In game two, the Panther offense was again silenced, managing only three hits. UWP also collected only three hits, but pushed over a pair of runs. Mike Oiler (2-4) picked up the loss.
