HOMESTEAD, Fla. - UWM scored six times in the sixth inning and four more times in the eighth to overcome a six-run deficit and defeat Hartford 11-7 Thursday night.

The win was the ninth straight for the Panthers, who finished a perfect 8-0 on their spring trip to Florida. Earlier Thursday, UWM scored nine times in the seventh inning and seven more times in the eighth to rout Stony Brook, 21-4.

In the win over Hartford, UWM trailed 7-1 after five innings before rallying. Jason Crawford pitched three shutout innings in relief to claim the win for the Panthers, who were led offensively by Dave Pudlosky's home run and four RBI.

UWM returns from Florida Friday, and will play a doubleheader at Valparaiso Saturday. The first game begins at noon.
