UWM Baseball Improves Record to 2-11 with 18-13 Win over Tennessee Tech

Panthers earn second win of season in high-scoring game, prepare for four-game road trip.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn.-- Sophomore catcher Todd Ludwig went 5-6 at the plate with four home runs and nine RBIs, sparking the UWM baseball team to its second win of the season yesterday when it defeated Tennessee Tech, 18-13.

UWM improves to 2-11 on the season.

Junior pitcher Andy Neary (1-4) picked up his first win of the season after pitching into the sixth inning.

The Panthers play at Belmont in Nashville, Tenn., on today at 2 p.m. The team then travels to Murfressboro, Tenn., on Friday to take on Middle Tennessee State at 1 p.m., followed by a doubleheader on Saturday vs. Western Illinois in Macomb, Ill., at noon.
