HOMESTEAD, Fla. - Aaron Bushong and Jason Crawford combined on UWM's first shutout of the season as the Panthers rolled past Cornell, 8-0, for their fourth straight win.

Bushong, a redshirt freshman, gave up just five hits in seven innings in his first collegiate start. Crawford pitched the final two innings to earn his first save.

Scott Gillitzer went 2-for-4, including a two-run single in the fourth to put the Panthers on the board. UWM scored six more times in the ninth, sparked by a solo home run from Darin Haugom. Haugom has now hit safely in all nine games this season for UWM.

Earlier in the day, UWM downed Northeastern 11-5, and the Panthers are now 3-0 on their spring trip to Florida.

Monday, UWM will face Stony Brook at 9 a.m. CST and Drexel at 1 p.m. CST. The game with Stony Brook was originally scheduled for Saturday, but was rained out.
