Final Stats

JONESBORO, Ark. - Arkansas State pushed a run across in the bottom of the 12th inning to send the Indians past the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, 3-2, Sunday afternoon in the finale of a three-game series.

The Panthers (2-4) had tied the game in the top of the ninth but could never push across the go-ahead run.

Brooks Graff led UWM offensively with three hits, but the Panthers left 11 runners on base. UWM did get solid pitching performances from its entire staff, including starter Korey Keller (6 1/3 IP, 1 ER) and reliever Jed Dolske (2 2/3 IP, 1 hit).

UWM tied the game in the top of the ninth on an RBI single by Zak Rivera, but the Panthers wound up leaving two runners in scoring position in the inning. Then in the 12th, the Indians (12-3) scored the game-winning run on a walk, an error and a fielder's choice.

UWM returns to action next weekend with a three-game series at Oklahoma State.
