Mike Hart returns to the Panther bench for the third year, working with the outfielders and baserunners.

Hart's background in baseball is an extensive one. He was an All-State baseball player at New Berlin Eisenhower before playing at the University of Wisconsin. The 13th round draft pick of the Seattle Mariners in 1979 enjoyed a professional career that lasted until 1987, playing in the major leagues for the Minnesota Twins and Baltimore Orioles. He lists his career highlight as his first big league hit, recorded at County Stadium against the Brewers.

His coaching career began with Greenfield High School from 1987 to 1993. He was the AAU Coach for West Allis and Greendale from 1994-2000, winning state championships in 1997 and 1998.

Hart is a Physical Education teacher at Greenfield Middle School and is married to wife Kerry. They have two sons: Jason and Jesse, who is currently a junior on the Panther baseball team.
