Cross Country Season Draws to a Close

MILWAUKEE (Nov. 13) - The Panther cross country teams concluded their 2001 season on Saturday with the Great Lakes Championships in Terre Haute, Ind. The UWM men finished 19th out of 31 teams, while the women finished 28th out of 31.
Finishing Up: Senior Cornelius Hill closed out his collegiate cross country career with a 42nd place finish at the Great Lakes Championships. Hill, who was a two-time NCAA Championships qualifier at South Florida, failed in his bid to make his third trip to the NCAA Championships.
Also finishing his cross country career at UWM was Pat Harrington, who placed 76th, vastly improving on his 130th place finish of a year ago. Harrington also took off over two minutes from his 10K time from a year ago.

Cross Country Teams End Season at Great Lakes Championships

Milwaukee -The UWM men's and women's cross country teams ended their seasons on Saturday at the Great Lakes Regional Championships in Terre Haute, Ind.
The men's team placed 19th out of 31 competing schools, while the women finished 28th out of 31.
Senior Cornelius Hill paced the men's team, finishing 42nd with a time of 32:12.3 for 10K. Fellow senior Pat Harrington was the next Panther

Panthers Gear Up for Great Lakes Championships

MILWAUKEE (Nov. 5) - The UWM cross country teams will compete this Saturday at the Great Lakes Regional Championships in Terre Haute, Ind.
The Panthers are coming off the Horizon League Championships, where the men finished fourth out of eight and the women finished sixth out of eight. UIC, the ninth Horizon League school, did not have enough runners entered to qualify for a team score.
