GREEN BAY, Wis. - The UWM men's and women's cross country teams claimed strong finishes at the MCC Championships Saturday.

The women took home third place, while the men finished fourth.

Two third place individual performances highlighted the day. Senior Aaron Nodolf claimed third in the men's race, while sophomore Abby Hurst finished third in the women's race. Nodolf completed the eight kilometer course in 25:29.12, while Hurst finished the five kilometer women's course in 18:20.67. Hurst's time was just five seconds off the winning pace.

Other top individual performances included Liz Pesch finishing 11th and Tricia Pozel finishing 14th on the women's side, with Pat Harrington claiming 12th on the men's side.

Butler won the men's competition, while Loyola won the women's championship. Jessica Kuhr of Wright State won the women's race, while Fraser Thompson of Butler won the men's race.
