AMES, Iowa - The UWM cross country team got a look at the best teams and runners in the nation at the Iowa State Memorial Classic.

Three of UWM's best runners ran in the 'A' race. On the men's side, Aaron Nodolf finished 133rd out of more than 300 runners. He finished the 10,000-meter course in 32:36.9

On the women's side, Abby Hurst finished 183rd, running the 6,000-meter course in 23:20.8. Liz Pesch finished 241st, completing her run in 24:02.6.

The men's team also entered the 'B' race, finishing 5th. Pat Harrington was the Panthers top runner in the 'B' race, crossing the finish line in 33.43.8.

The Panthers now has two weeks to prepare for the MCC Championships, scheduled for Green Bay, Wis., at the end of the month.
