Panthers earn their fourth consecutive title at the Briggs and Stratton Run. Sept. 28, 1999 The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee men’s and women’s cross country team earned its fourth consecutive college title at the Briggs and Stratton Run and Walk for Children’s Hospital on Saturday, Sept. 25, in Milwaukee. Senior Aaron Nodolf led the men, finishing second in the males ages 19-29 division, and fourth overall, in 25:49. Senior Matt Finger finished fourth both in the 19-29 division and overall, in a time of 26:07, with sophomore Pat Harrington finishing ninth overall (26:19) to round up UWM’s top 10 male finishers. On the women’s side, freshman Abby Hurst led the team, finishing first in the women’s female age 1-18 division and sixth overall in 30:35. Also finishing in the top 10 was Ann Lewis who finished 9th overall in 30:44. Fellow freshman Katie Olander finished second in the 1-18 division and 12th overall in 32:29.
