Fall 2001: Practiced with the cross country team but did not compete. Waukesha North: Named all-state all four years with the track team…was state champion in the 800m in 1999…helped win a state championship in the 4×400, running a 48.00 split, and took third in the 400 at state in 1998…state runner-up in both the 4×800 and 4×400 in 1997…twice named the team captain and MVP…lettered three years in cross country and named the team MVP…also lettered twice in baseball. Personal: Majoring in Business…transferred from Wisconsin after redshirting the 2001 track season…sister, Maria, starts at center for the UWM women's basketball team…most memorable sports experience is winning the 800m in 1:54.77 at state in 1999…enjoys hanging with friends when not on the track. |
