2001: Set the outdoor school record in the triple jump with a leap of 50’4.50” at the Lee Calhoun Memorial on April 14, winning the event…named MCC Athlete of the Week following that performance…finished first in the triple jump at the Eastern Illinois Invitational on April 7 and at the Purdue Invitational on 4/28. Bay View: Was a part of the track team for two and a half years, doing jumps…was the conference champion his junior and senior year…qualified for state and finished eighth in the triple jump (46-7). Personal: A history major and africology minor…transferred from Wisconsin in 2000…career goals includes coaching and teaching at the secondary or collegiate level…hobbies include writing poetry…favorite movie is The Negotiator.
