At the Notre Dame Invitational over Dec. 3-4, senior diver Todd Hill placed second overall in the one-meter dive and fourth in the three-meter dive for the men's team. For the women, junior Jamie Cyganiak place 15th in the one-meter and junior Amanda Maas took 13th in the three-meter.

Top three men's one-meter diving finishers were Notre Dame junior Herb Huesman (491.15), Hill (468.70), and Notre Dame freshman Andy Maggio (468.10). For the Panthers senior Adam Stoeling place 16th and sophomore Marco Gruchalski took 18th. In the three-meter dive, Huesman once again captured first, while Wyoming sophomore Oscar DelGudo took second and Michigan State freshman Nick Visscher placed third. Hill placed fourth, Stoeling took 10th and Gruchalski placed 17th in the three-meter dive.

For the women's one-meter divers at the Notre Dame Invitational, Michigan State sophomores Carly Weiden and Summer Mitchell grabbed the top two places and Notre Dame senior Gina Ketelhohn took third. UWM women one-meter diver finishers included 15th place junior Jamie Cyganiak, 16th freshman Erin Hallen, 17th junior Amanda Maas, 18th junior Christine Martin, 20th freshman Jenny Rabe, and 22nd freshman Krystina Herzog. In three-meter competition, sophomre Heather Mattingly of Notre Dame captured first, followed by Weiden and Ketelhohn. For UWM, Maas took 13th overall followed by Cyganiak (14th), Herzog (17th), Hallen (20th), and Rabe (22nd).

UWM divers hit the water next at the Bill Ritter Invitational January 21-22, 2000 at the Klotsche Center beginning at 5:30 pm.
