MILWAUKEE - Peter Clark (Whitefish Bay, Wis./Whitefish Bay), a freshman swimmer at UWM, has been named the MCC Athlete of the Week, the conference office announced today.

Clark, the son of Panther swim coach Dave Clark, won four individual events and was part of a winning relay team as the Panthers won dual meets against Northern Iowa, Butler, and Northern Illinois.

In a double dual meet on Friday, Nov. 12, at the Klotsche Center, Clark won both the 200 fly and the 200 free agianst Northern Iowa and Butler. He also swam on the winning 400 freestyle relay squad.

The next day at Northern Illinois, Clark won the 200 free and the 500 free.

Clark is the second consecutive Panther to win the MCC Athlete of the Week honor. Last week, freshman Matt Schmaling earned the honor.

The Panthers are back in action on Friday and Saturday when they compete at the Windy City Invitational, hosted by UIC.
