Milwaukee - Senior diver Nic Seider (Mequon, Wis./Milwaukee Lutheran) has been named Horizon League Athlete of the Week for his performance against Northern Iowa and UIC on Sat., Nov. 10, the league office announced today.

Seider captured a pair of first place victories, winning both the 1m and 3m events against UNI and UIC. Seider's scores in both events also qualified him for the NCAA Zone Championships in the spring.

Seider becomes the third consecutive Panther to earn the league honor. He follows sophomore Josh Baseheart, who earned the honor on Oct. 30, and senior Kelly Goetsch, who won the award on Nov. 6.

The Panther men are off until Dec. 7-8 when they will compete in the Wheaton Invitational, while the Panther women resume action this Sunday when they take on Illinois State at 2 p.m. at the Klotsche Center. Seider and the rest of the Panther divers will compete the same weekend at the Notre Dame Invitational.
