MILWAUKEE - The UWM women’s swimming and diving team earned Academic All-America Team honors for the Spring 1999 semester, the College Swimming Coaches of America Association announced. The team has earned the award every semester since the fall of 1988, 22 in a row.

The team had a cumulative 3.328 GPA for the semester, ranking 13th out of all NCAA Division I schools.

“I am very proud of the way our team competes academically with the best schools in the country,” said Head Coach Dave Clark. “Earning this honor on an occasional basis would be great, but earning it with such consistency is fantastic and a real tribute to our team.”
