MILWAUKEE -- Five UWM swimming and diving team members were honored on Sunday with their selection to the MCC Academic All-Conference team.

Juniors Leslie Brock (business), Adam Hanson (finance/accounting), and Kelly Goetsch (accounting) were each honored for the second consecutive year, while sophomores Peter Clark (psychology) and Matt Schmaling (marketing) were recognized in their first season of eligibility.

The MCC Academic All-Conference team honors student-athletes who have a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or above with at least three complete semesters at the same institution and who participate in an MCC-sponsored sport as a starter or an important reserve. The teams are comprised of the same number of first-team all-MCC student-athletes in each sport. Selections are made by MCC faculty athletics representatives and sports information directors.
