Milwaukee -- UWM swimmers and divers top the MCC in 12 events, the conference office announced today.

Freshman diver Krystina Herzog (Racine, Wis./Horlick) set a new high for the conference in one-meter diving (six dives) over the weekend with a mark of 265.58. Freshman Erin Hallen (Middleton, Wis./Middleton) kept pace with Herzog, advancing to the second spot in the conference in the same event.

Brothers Andrew Babcock (Verona, Wis./Verona) and Daniel Babcock (Verona, Wis./Verona) continue to hold their positions in the 100 buttlerfly. Andrew, a senior, leads the league in the event and Daniel, a sophomore, ranks second.

Todd Hill (West Bend, Wis/East) leads the conference in one-meter diving (11 dives), three-meter diving (six dives) and three-meter diving (11 dives). Amanda Maas (Plymouth, Wis./Plymouth) tops the three-meter diving (11 dives) in the women's event.

Other swimmers who are leading the league in their events include Bill Kuri (Wauwatosa, Wis./Marquette) in the 100 backstroke and Rachel Smith (Superior, Wis./Superior) in the 100 breaststroke. Also, three relays on the men's side and one on the women's lead the MCC.

Other Panthers who rank in the top five in their events are Kevin Van Den Wymelenberg (Green Bay, Wis./Preble), Matt Schmaling (New Berlin, Wis./Eisenhower), Peter Clark (Whitefish Bay, Wis./Whitefish Bay), David Faust (Eden Prairie, Wis./Eden Prairie), Adam Stoelting (Kiel, Wis./Kiel), Leslie Brock (Appleton, Wis./North), Erin Pollyea (Linclolnwood, Ill./Niles West), Jenna Raymond (Shorewood, Wis./Shorewood), Jenny Thies (Chaska, Minn./Chaska), Beth Watt (Waukesha, Wis./West), and Jamie Cyganiak (New Berlin, Wis./West).
