The Panther swimming and diving teams lost to both Wisconsin and UW-Green Bay in a triple dual meet in Madison this past weekend.

The Panther men lost 155-76 to Wisconsin and 124.5-98.5 to UW-Green Bay. UWM turned in solid times against the Phoenix, but were unable to overcome a strong Badger force. UWM topped Green Bay in five swimming events and swept diving.

Against Wisconsin, UWM's David Faust finished second in the 1,000 free and Peter Clark earned third in both the 200 free and 200 fly. Nick Bowers placed second in the 200 breast and Josh Baseheart grabbed fourth in the 50 free. Bill Kuri took fourth in the 200 back. Nic Seider placed second in one-meter diving and Marco Gruchalski placed third in three-meter diving for UWM. The Panthers sit at 3-7 in dual meets.

The Panther women dropped to five hundred on the season after falling to Wisconsin, 160-74, and UW-Green Bay, 133-102, this past weekend in Madison. In the overall triple dual meet, Amanda Chan won the 200 breast, Beth Watt placed second in the 200 fly and Jen Kedinger took third in the 1,000 free. Krystina Herzog placed third and fifth in the three- and one-meter diving, respectively. UWM's 200 free relay team of Watt, Elizabeth Schleis, Kathleen Owen and Rachel Smith placed third as well.

The Panther swimming teams are next in action Saturday, Feb. 10 at Valparaiso.
