MILWAUKEE -

At Western Illinois, the men's swim team earned 121.5 points to finish in a tie with the Bulldogs. On the women's side, junior diver Amanda Maas captured two firsts as the Panthers fell to UWI, 147-96.

The Panther men took five first place finishes, one each by senior diver Todd Hill, freshman swimmer Peter Clark, senior swimmer Bill Kuri and one each in the 400-yard medley (Kuri, sophomore Mike Smith, senior Adam Babcock, and senior Kevin Van DemWymelenberg) and 400-yard freestyle (Smith, A. Babcock, sophomore Dan Babcock, freshman Matt Schmaling) relays.

The women Panthers took four firsts overall paced by Maas in the diving events. Rachel Smith finished first in the 200-yard breaststroke and the 400 medley relay team of junior Randi Flether, freshman Rachel Smith, freshman Beth Watt and sophomre Kelly Goetsch also captured first in a time of 4:09.32.

The Panthers are next in action as they take on the Phoenix at UW-Green Bay on February Fourth at 5:00 pm.
