Milwaukee — UWM swimmers and divers sit on top in 10 events, according to MCC rankings released by the conference office.

Senior co-captain Todd Hill (West Bend, Wis./East) leads the MCC in two diving events and freshman Rachel Smith (Superior, Wis./Superior) paces the league in both the 100 and 200 breaststroke.

The Panthers have a strong showing the men’s 100 butterfly, with siblings Andrew Babcock (Verona, Wis./Verona) and Daniel Babcock (Verona, Wis./Verona), ranking one-two, respectivley, in the event.

Other swimmers who are leading the league in their events include Bill Kuri (Wauwatosa, Wis./Marquette) in the 100 backstroke and Amanda Maas (Plymouth, Wis./Plymouth) in three-meter diving (11 dives). Also three relays on the men’s side lead the MCC.

Other Panthers who rank in the top five in their events are Kevin Van Den Wymelenberg (Green Bay, Wis./Preble), Matt Schmaling (New Berlin, Wis./Eisenhower), Peter Clark (Whitefish Bay, Wis./Whitefish Bay), David Faust (Eden Prairie, Wis./Eden Prairie), Doug Kuntz (Brookfield, Wis./Central), John Bonnel (Appleton, Wis./North), Jenna Raymond (Shorewood, Wis./Shorewood), Jenny Thies (Chaska, Minn./Chaska), Beth Watt (Waukesha, Wis./West), Erin Hallen (Middleton, Wis./Middleton), Krystina Herzog (Racine, Wis./Horlick) and Jamie Cyganiak (New Berlin, Wis./West).
