Nic Seider placed third in the 3m diving competition at the Notre Dame Invitational over the weekend in South Bend, Ind. Seider scored 428.85 in the finals after qualifying at 423.95. His performance helped lead the Panthers to score 63 points in the diving competition.

On the women's side, Krystina Herzog took fifth place in the 3m and added an eighth place finish in the 1m as the Panthers scored 115 points. Hannah Burgard chipped in with an eighth place finish in the 3m, and Becky Rubel finished in 12th place at 3m.

UWM will now prepare for their winter training trip over winter break in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. The Panthers will return to face Butler on Jan. 19, 2002, at the Klotsche Center Pool. The meet begins at noon.
